Riverside School of Motoring | Approved Driving Instructor | Grade A

Mick retired from Northumbria Police in February 2014 and qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor. He initially worked for a local School of Motoring as well as Young Drivers, teaching eleven to seventeen year olds how to drive. (Mick obtained The Further and Adult Education Teachers Certificate whilst serving in the police)

In February 2016 Mick decided to become an independent driving instructor and set up Riverside School of Motoring. He works in the following areas, and surrounding areas.

Newcastle upon Tyne, Ponteland, Gateshead and surrounding areas

​

All driving lessons are carried out on a one-to-one basis i.e. no car sharing.

​

Mick abides by the Driving Standards Agency Code of Practice.

​

Your driving lesson will usually last a full two hours. Mick will arrive on time and be patient and courteous. If in the event Mick is going to be late, you will be contacted to give you an estimated time of arrival.

​

Each individual will have their own needs assessed and a course will be developed to meet the individuals needs.
